Jim Burke currently volunteers at The SeniorNet Center in Huntington, Long Island, NY. He serves as an instructor both in the lab and in the outreach programs and as a SeniorNet Users Group's presenter where the latest topics are taught at local libraries to the general public as a promotion of the SeniorNet Programs. Jim's career was in the educational forums where he taught Mathematics from 5th grade to the university level.  Additionally, he introduced the use of computers and their programming starting in 1968 in both public and private schools. Jim's experience includes activities with people in countries including England, China, and Cuba focusing on the education benefits of the use of technology as related to both individual and staff support including training using community outreach and development.
