Never eat, drink or smoke around the computer.

Turn off the computer or peripheral before cleaning.

Do not get the inside of the computer damp.

To clean the outside case, use warm water with a little liquid detergent rather than cleaning solvent.

Do not spray any type of liquid onto any computer part, such as the monitor. Spray the liquid first onto a cloth.

You can use a vacuum to remove dust from your keyboard or compressed air in a spray can that forces air into crevices to remove dust, hair, etc.

You can use a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol or water for difficult to reach areas.
