Recently Bill Boland, the Coordinator for the Austin, TX SeniorNet Learning Center was chosen as a Local Hero by Bank of America. Bank of America uses the Local Hero Awards to recognize individuals who champion causes vital to their communities, inspire others to get involved, and who have special and significant impact on individuals, families, or communities. In recognition of Bill’s outstanding work, Bank of America is donating $5,000 to the Austin, TX Learning Center and Bill will be recognized at a public awards ceremony in Austin.
