Learning Center Opens in New Orleans, January 2008 PDF Email
On January 25, 2008, in partnership with the H.R.C. Foundation and the New Orleans Central City Economic Opportunity Corporation (EOC) Senior Center, SeniorNet opened a new Computer Learning Center to bring free computer access and education to low-income seniors in the New Orleans metro area. This scholarship-based SeniorNet Learning Center is the second Center that is part of a three-year grant from the H.R.C. Foundation to bridge the ‘Digital Divide’ by bringing the life-changing benefits of computer access and education to low-income seniors across the nation.
