IBM, SeniorNet, the Native American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), the U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development (IEED), USDA Rural Development and Tri-District/Chester Adult Education are proud to invite you to the grand opening of the Catawba Indian Nation Achievement Center at the Catawba Indian Nation, Rock Hill, South Carolina. Launching as part of the ‘Hope and Harmony for Humanity Initiative’, a program to bring technology access and education to low-income residents of rural Native American tribal lands, the Catawba Indian Nation Achievement Center will serve as a computer lab to enhance the lives of all ages and bring work/employment skills to tribal members.
The grand opening will include Catawba Indian Nation Achievement Center members, volunteers, tribal elders, elected officials and members of the local and national media. Here are the details:
