We are happy to announce our new partnership with the National Council on Aging (NCOA).
The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is a respected national leader and trusted partner to help people aged 60+ meet the challenges of aging. Their mission is to improve the lives of millions of older adults, especially those who are struggling, through innovative community programs and services, online help, and advocacy.
NCOA is partnering with nonprofit organizations, government, and businesses to improve the health and economic security of 10 million older adults by 2020.
NCOA Social Impact Goals include . . .
Greater economic security through increased access to benefits, financial resources, and job opportunities.
Improved health and reduced disability through greater access to proven community-based and online programs.
Enhanced capacity to live independently in communities.
Approximately 10,000 people turn 65 every day, a pace that will continue until 2030. Some will celebrate by making a poor choice of Medicare plan. The NCOA created My Medicare Matters and its useful Medicare QuickCheck tool to guide consumers through the weeds to the information most relevant to their needs.
NCOA created a site for SeniorNet that hosts the My Medicare Matters tool.
This free tool is comprehensive and very easy to interact with.
Please review and share with your family and friends.
